The DV Original Musical, Three Roads Home: A Post-Apocalyptic Family Drama, opened for one night only on Friday night, March 13, 2020. This was the 5th annual Musical production. Directed by Khalil Munir, an award-winning actor, and DV alumnus, about ¼ of the school--52 DV students were involved as writers, songwriters, cast, band, or crew.

DV Alumna Toby Tomlinson Baker received the Harrison Sylvester Award, a national award for research of learning disabilities by someone with an LD.

The gift from the grandparent of an alum establishes a new endowed fund to support financial aid for DVFS students.

DV's upper school Physics class was studying Sir Isaac Newton's Laws of Motion. To make the Laws of Motion tangible, Katie Brasten set up stations to get the students thinking about how the laws might play out in different "real-life" situations.

Students in Joy's Science class had fun creating their own Rube Goldberg machines. They have been studying the transfer of energy. Rube Goldberg machines are a perfect tangible way for students to experiment with how this transfer works.

At Delaware Valley Friends School, a World War I lesson isn't just read from a book; it becomes A creative, engaging learning experience.
