A Quaker School for Students Who Learn Differently

DVFriends uses the Applied application process
DVFriends has partnered with Applied to ensure an application process that is equitable and free of implicit bias. You’ll answer some questions that are related to your day-to-day job. Your answers will go through our sifting process: all answers will be anonymized, randomized, and then reviewed by a panel of reviewers. Candidates who make it to the next phase are invited to campus for in-person interviews.
Current Opportunities
Educational Technologist and Makerspace Instructor
The Educational Technologist and Makerspace Instructor teaches Makerspace and STEM-related courses across the divisions of the School while supporting the integration of technology into teaching and learning in all divisions. They collaborate with faculty to identify and implement digital tools that enhance instruction, provide training and ongoing support, and help manage educational platforms used across the school. They are also a primary manager of the school’s learning management system (Schoology) and technology subscriptions. More information about the position is in the document below.

Long Term Sub Upper School Science Teacher
As a long-term substitute upper school science teacher at DVFriends, you will join a dynamic team aligned with the goal of helping bright students with learning differences reach their full potential. You would teach biology, with the support of our Director of Teaching and Learning and the Upper School division director. Teachers also fulfill other assigned duties and report directly to their division director. This position will last for at least 12 weeks, with the possibility of being extended beyond that period.
