DVFriends Accredited Orton-Gillingham Summer Teacher Literacy Training 2024
Intensive training: June 20-28 from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm weekdays.
7-day intensive training for teachers in how to teach reading and writing to students with language-based learning differences.
- Each session will consist of a daily quiz, lecture, demonstration lessons, and idea-sharing with an hour set aside for lunch
- Trainees can expect nightly homework assignments that consist of a reading from Multisensory Teaching of Basic Language Skills and creating a lesson plan based on material covered during that day's lecture.
Paid Internship: July 1 - August 2, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm weekdays (No instruction on July 4)
