Planned Giving

Planned gifts to DV's endowment are a great way to support the long-term future of DVFriends. In recognition of their value to DV, new planned gift commitments made during the campaign will be recognized as gifts to Transforming Futures. 
 
These gifts can take a variety of forms, and do not need to impact current income. This makes them an excellent choice for many people, including those just starting out in their career to those in retirement. The Planned Giving section of our website offers several easy methods to make this type of gift. Planned Gift Challenge Offered! A generous alumni family has offered to give $500 to Transforming Futures Phase One for every new planned gift commitment secured during the campaign, up to a total of $5,000. Planned gifts ("planned now, realized later") will be added to DV's endowment, which provides a stable source of funding for the school. Your commitment will have both an immediate impact on the success of the campaign, and on DV's long-term future. 
 
Terms and conditions for the planned gift challenge:

  • The value of these gifts does not need to be disclosed to the school and will not count towards campaign totals.
  • Planned gift donors will be recognized as campaign donors in campaign recognition materials. 
  • Planned gifts can take many forms, including making DV a partial beneficiary of retirement assets; see the Planned Giving section of our website for more details.
  • Planned gift commitments must be made in writing before August 25, 2025 using the form linked below.
