Get Your Gift Matched
We are thrilled to announce several matching gifts from dedicated members of the DV community to inspire participation in the Transforming Futures campaign!
Dollar-for-Dollar Matches
John and Doris Rudibaugh, grandparents of John Perez '22, are offering to match gifts of $10,000 to $100,000, up to a total of $100,000.
Mike and Karen D'Allaird, parents of Liv '20, are offering to match gifts of $1,000 to $5,000, up to a total of $50,000.
Each gift made under the terms of these matching challenges will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling the impact of your investment. Donors will be offered naming opportunities at twice the value of their gift, in recognition of their impact at DVFriends.
Terms and conditions:

- Gifts, or pledges received in writing with a fulfillment schedule of 1-3 years, and accompanied by 20% of the gift amount, will be automatically counted towards these challenges during the matching gift period.
- Gifts previously pledged to the campaign will not be counted; however, previous donors may make additional gifts which will be counted, as long as other criteria are met.
- Planned gifts cannot be counted towards these matches.
Donor Matches
Ruth Greenberger match for the DV community from 1994-2004: We love our alumni and want them to be involved in this campaign! And so does our former Head of School, Ruth Greenberger. Ruth has offered to give $100 to the campaign for every campaign donor who is an alum, family member, or faculty and staff member who was at DV anytime between 1994-2004, up to a total of $10,000.
Planned Gift match: A generous alumni family has offered to give $500 to Transforming Futures Phase One for every new planned gift commitment secured during the campaign, up to a total of $5,000. Planned gifts ("planned now, realized later") will be added to DV's endowment, which provides a stable source of funding for the school. Your commitment will have both an immediate impact on the success of the campaign, and on DV's long-term future.
Terms and conditions for the planned gift challenge:

- Planned gift amounts do not need to be disclosed, and planned gifts will not be counted towards campaign totals.
- Planned gift donors will be recognized as campaign donors in campaign recognition materials.
- Planned gifts can take many forms, including making DV a partial beneficiary of retirement assets; see the Planned Giving section of our website for more details.
- Planned gift commitments must be made in writing using the form linked below.
