Shannon Niewood

Shannon is an Upper School Language Arts Teacher. Prior to coming to DVFriends in 2022, she has had experience teaching in both independent and public schools for the last 14 years. Most recently, she taught at Center School in Abington, PA. Shannon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Elizabethtown College and a Master's Degree in Education with her reading specialist certification from Holy Family University. She also holds her Wilson Reading certification.
