Support DVFriends

We invite all members of the extended DVFriends community to get involved in supporting our school, and welcome your gifts of time, talent, and treasure.

Want to make an impact at DVFriends right now? The DVFriends Annual Fund supports the school's greatest day-to-day needs, helping fund everything from technology in our classrooms to our robust arts and athletics programs. Or, Pennsylvania's tax credit programs (EITC and OSTC) turn your state tax dollars into scholarships for students. Both make an impact at DVFriends today, and every day.

Want to make a gift towards DVFriends' future? Include us in your estate plans with a Planned Gift; your gift could cost you nothing now!

Volunteer: Get involved! We invite you to share your time with DVFriends as a volunteer. Please contact Kelly Knox, Assistant Director of Community and Alumni Engagement, to express your interest and find out more about our volunteer opportunities.

Lighting The Way Annual Fundraiser: You won't want to miss this special spring event celebrating the warmth and generosity of the DVFriends community!

Gifts of appreciated securities, stocks, and bonds provide considerable tax advantages when transferred to DVFriends before they are sold. If you have held your securities for more than one year, you may find that your gift will provide a two-fold tax benefit, creating an income tax deduction as well as helping avoid the capital gains tax that would have been due on their sale.

To make a gift of stock, wire transfer your stock to DVFriends’ account with Wells Fargo Advisors using the following information:

Wells Fargo Advisors
Acct #: 2431-3516
DTC#: 0141
Wells Fargo representative: Craig Schwartz, 215-636-1480

Additionally, please advise Stephanie Speakman in our Development Office at 610-640-4150, ext. 2151 with the name of the security, number of shares, and date of gift so that the gift may be properly credited to you.
Visit this page on our website to see if your employer has a matching gift program and to learn more about matching gifts.

Designate DVFriends as a recipient of your contributions to your company’s United Way campaign by searching for organization number #9967.
When making gifts through Vanguard Charitable or other donor-advised funds, please be advised that Delaware Valley Friends School holds 501(c)3 non-profit status under the group tax exemption number of the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends.
Our federal tax EIN number is 23-2416737.
If you have reached 70 ½ years of age and do not need all of the income from your IRA for living expenses, consider making gifts to DVFriends directly from your IRA. It will help you meet your required minimum distribution for the year, and the distribution is not treated as taxable income for you or DVFriends. This allows you to avoid paying income tax on a required distribution that you do not need. You can make gifts of up to $100,000 annually.
This is a great way to give tax-advantaged retirement assets from your IRA during your lifetime. The IRA Charitable Rollover was made permanent in December 2015.

To make this gift, contact your IRA plan administrator. The funds must be transferred directly from your IRA account to Delaware Valley Friends School (note: no other retirement plans qualify for this rollover). Instruct your IRA plan administrator to make checks payable to Delaware Valley Friends School and send to:
