Community Time

Community is one of the Quaker testimonies and an important aspect of being a part of the DVFriends school family. Community Time is unstructured time built into the daily schedule at DVFriends. During this 35-40 minute period, students can participate in clubs, student government committee meetings, or just hang out with friends. Our turf field and Dragon's Rock Play & Community Space are options for some exercise and outdoor fun. Inside, students can play games or relax together in the gym, media center, cafe, and lounge areas. During Community time, there is a place for everyone to feel welcome and at home.
