Katya Hottenstein

This is Katya's fourth year teaching Spanish at DVFS and her first year as Chair of the Spanish Department. She has an undergraduate degree in Hispanic Studies from Hamilton College, a Masters in Education from Pace University, and is certified in Pennsylvania to teach PK-12 Spanish. Katya has taught Spanish for twelve years to students ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade, in both public and private schools. She enjoys staying active, playing instruments, traveling, cooking, crossword puzzles, oil painting, eating trail mix, and spending time with her favorite pups, Tuck and Ralph.
