Ultimate Frisbee

Ultimate Frisbee is a spring sport at DVFriends. Students in middle and upper school (grades 6 - 12) are welcome to participate. The Ultimate team plays against other schools in the Penn-Jersey Independent School League and won the league championship in 2018. Ultimate frisbee started as a student club at DVFriends and became an interscholastic team because of the commitment and enthusiasm that our students demonstrated. Participants in the ultimate frisbee program learn confidence, integrity, determination, discipline, responsibility, and leadership. They practice commitment, respect, and pride representing our student body and become ambassadors for the school and our community.

No-cut athletics at DVFriends means that all students who want to play a sport are encouraged to do so -- whether they are veteran players or new to the sport.
