Andre LeBrun

Andre holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine, where his work focused on the history of ideas and literature. He brings six years of teaching experience across a wide range of settings, from elementary classrooms to university courses.
Andre has taught literature spanning ancient Greek drama through modern and contemporary texts, with a strong emphasis on close reading, discussion, and critical thinking. In addition to serving as a lead instructor at Loyola Marymount University and UC Irvine, he worked directly with fifth-grade students through UC Irvine’s TH!NK Program, designing engaging, discussion-based lessons centered on short stories and big ideas.
