Annie Wingerd

Annie joins DVFriends this year as a 9th Grade Language Arts teacher. She earned her undergraduate degree in Human Development from Washington College, an M.S.Ed. in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s in Special Education with a Social, Emotional, and Behavior Wellness Certificate from Saint Joseph’s University. She is currently pursuing certification in Orton-Gillingham. Before coming to DV, Annie worked for three years at Saint Joseph’s University as Assistant Director of Graduate Advising and Retention. In her free time, she enjoys reading and cooking. She recently completed the Writing Revolution program and is continuing her Orton-Gillingham training.
