Stacey Joseph

Stacey Joseph is joining the DV community as our new Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. Her first experience in a Friends school was as a parent when her son was in elementary school at Media-Providence Friends. During that time, she was also a dance teacher, and she helped to establish a culture enrichment program at the school. Stacey has done equity work in several spheres. In the corporate world, she focused on employee training and development for a biomedical company in Massachusetts. She has also served on the Haverford Township Human Relations Commission. For the past eight years, Stacey has run her own consulting firm, Impact EDI, which has focused on organizational culture and strategy. For many years, she has also volunteered with A Better Chance, an organization of which she is also an alumna. Stacey holds a BA degree in philosophy from Vassar College and certificates in organizational leadership from Villanova and diversity and inclusion from Cornell University.
