Ken Dorris
Ken has spent nearly thirty years in schools and camps. His first position was as a counselor and athletic director at Camp Tockwough on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. He began his career in education as a one-to-one aide at the Vanguard School. After that, he was a teacher, coach, and advisor at the Montgomery School before moving to the Wyndcroft School. Ken worked for Wyndcroft for twenty years. He served as its director of facilities and director of athletics in addition to running Wyndcroft’s summer and young alumni programs. Ken grew up very near DV, and he is a graduate of Conestoga High School. He studied liberal arts at Delaware County Community College before earning his BA in psychology from West Chester University.
