Megan Peterson
Megan joined DVFriends in 2021, bringing over eight years of classroom experience to her role as Lower School Lead Teacher. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Grades Preparation (PreK–4) from West Chester University. Before joining DVFriends, Megan taught 3rd grade for six and a half years and Kindergarten for a year and a half in Prince William County Schools, Virginia. She is CALP Certified through ALTA and trained in Writing Revolution and multi-sensory math approaches, which she incorporates into her teaching to support diverse learning styles. Outside of school, Megan enjoys trying out different kinds of crafts with her daughters.
