Colleen Chapman
Colleen Chapman serves as an Upper School Language Arts teacher and the Language Arts Department Chair at DVFriends, where she is dedicated to supporting students with learning differences and helping them grow as confident, capable readers and writers. Before joining DVFriends, she spent over fifteen years teaching Language Arts at The Center School in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, a school that also serves students with learning differences. Colleen earned her bachelor’s in Education from Holy Family University and is a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) through the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA). She is also a certified instructor in the Wilson Reading System. Currently, she is completing the final phase of her Master of Science in Education with a focus on Instruction, Curriculum, and Assessment at Walden University.
