Jalal Rhamirich

Jalal is the Director of Athletics and has been at DVFriends since 1999. A former World Cup soccer player, he brings a remarkable depth of athletic experience to the school. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Mohamed V University in Morocco and an Advanced Coaching Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. His background also includes work as a business owner, French teacher, soccer coach, athletic mentor, and NCAA soccer referee.

Passionate about soccer in every form—playing, coaching, and watching—Jalal channels that enthusiasm into his work with students. He has led the U20 Moroccan national team, organized a U17 U.S. team tour in Morocco, and run nonprofit athletic camps for underprivileged youth in the U.S., Morocco, and Spain.

He is dedicated to helping young athletes grow in skill, confidence, and sportsmanship while fostering a lifelong love of the game.
