Jim Miller
Jim has been a teacher and administrator in Friends schools for more than twenty years. He joined DVFriends in 2019 as the school’s first Upper School Director and now serves as the Director of Enrollment Management. In this role, he brings a deep commitment to Quaker education and draws on his own experience as the parent of a student with learning differences to help families find the right school fit for their child.
Before coming to DVFriends, Jim spent 15 years at Friends Select School as Dean of Students and an English teacher. He holds a B.A. in English from Franklin & Marshall College and an M.A. in English Language & Literature from SUNY Binghamton. Jim is also an alumnus of the Friends Council on Education’s Institute for Engaging Leadership in Friends Schools.
