Katherine Kent

Katie Kent has been the Lower School art teacher and the Middle and Upper School ceramics teacher at DVFriends since 2012. A DVFS alum, she went on to earn her BFA from the University of the Arts.

After college, Katie studied ceramics for a summer in Tokoname, Japan, and later became a member and working artist at The Clay Studio. She was also part of the art collective Space 1026 and contributed to an installation at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA).

Outside the classroom, Katie enjoys fishing.
