PowerSchool, School Messenger, Safe Arrival
PowerSchool is DVFriends' primary student and family information system. Through it, you can directly access School Messenger (DV's parent /guardian communications system, which also includes Safe Arrival, DV's automated attendance system). Below you will find information on what parents and guardians can do and find in this system. Guides below each tool will walk parents/guardians through accessing the different systems, and the quick links to the right take you to the login screens for each.

POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL
The PowerSchool parent portal is the main hub of student information for comments and grades, where parents can:
- Check and update your Student Demographics information
- Access School Messenger to check and update contact preferences, and SafeArrival to notify DV of student attendance
- Access Forms - here you will complete the health, sports, and field trip forms for your student
- Read teacher comments

There is also a mobile app for PowerSchool which parents/guardians can download. (Use the DV District code LDCW)

SCHOOL MESSENGER
School Messenger is DV's school-wide communications system that delivers communications via phone, email, and SMS/text message. It is accessed through the navigation bar in PowerSchool or from a downloadable app (see below for where to download the SchoolMessenger app).
SAFE ARRIVAL, DV's automated attendance system, is also accessed through School Messenger and the School Messenger app.
Click the School Messenger icon in the navigation bar in the PowerSchool Parent Portal, and you will be asked to verify your contact information and preferences. These preferences are what the system will use when generating messages.

Health Forms
Forms are accessed through the PowerSchool parent portal under Navigation. Your student's completed physical and immunization forms should be uploaded to Forms before they return to campus. For your convenience, we have included a link to the physical and immunization form below. Please upload when completed or send by email to Chris Bedard, School Nurse. Please do not send paper forms to school.
