Tuition/Financial Aid

Transparent, Inclusive Tuition at DVFriends

Unlike some schools, DVFriends tuition covers all fees. Our tuition includes books and class materials, technology (Apple laptops for each student in grades 6-12 and iPads for students in grades 1-5), activities, athletics, clubs, and field trips. Students who work with DV’s Speech/Language Pathologist as part of our regular program do not pay an extra fee for those services. Most ABLE (Adventure-Based Learning Experiences) trips are covered by tuition except when students must travel by air or internationally (need-based financial aid is available for these experiences to make them accessible to all DV students). Additional fees at other schools can increase the cost of attendance by a few hundred up to several thousands of dollars.

Need-based financial aid is available to families who qualify. A significant percentage of families who apply do receive some level of tuition assistance/financial aid. In many cases, transportation is provided at no cost by the school district in which a student resides. Please see the video below for an explanation of tuition assistance/financial aid at DVFriends.
