DVFriends has always had an 8:30 AM start.
 

How do our students get to school every day?

School District Transportation

Pennsylvania school districts will provide daily transportation to DVFriends if it is within ten miles of the district’s boundary, measured by the nearest public road.
 
Currently, these districts provide busing:
  • Downingtown
  • Great Valley
  • Haverford
  • Lower Merion
  • Upper Merion
  • Methacton
  • Owen J. Roberts
  • Phoenixville
  • Spring-Ford
  • Radnor
  • Ridley
  • Rose Tree-Media
  • Tredyffrin-Easttown
  • Marple-Newtown
  • Norristown
  • West Chester

Other districts may provide transportation upon request.


DVFriends van service

DVFriends vans provide transportation for some students from Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery counties. There is an annual fee. Current stops are in Chestnut Hill/Mount Airy, Glenside, and Fort Washington.


SEPTA and AMTRAK

Our school is located just a 3 -5 minute walk from the Paoli train station. Both train lines provide service to Paoli.

Car

We help families connect with those living near them so they may arrange carpools or hire private transportation services. Our licensed student drivers have a designated parking lot on campus and are required to have a DVFriends parking pass.
