Every season, our athletes pour their hearts into their sports and teams.
Last Thursday, DVFriends held our annual All-Sports Banquet, which is a chance for coaches from every team across the fall, winter, and spring seasons to look at their players and say, "We saw you." We saw your hustle, your heart, and your growth.
Whether you set a personal record, lifted a teammate up, or just kept showing up, you represented DVFriends well and deserve recognition. We also took a moment to recognize our team managers, whose behind-the-scenes dedication keeps every program running.
Each team recognized their own with the Most Improved Player, Coach's Award, and MVP, before we celebrated our individual award recipients:
Athletic Department Award â Presented to seniors who have competed in at least 8 interscholastic seasons and best exemplify the love of athletic competition.
Gray Goodman Award â Named for DVFriends' founding athletic director, this award honors a senior scholar-athlete who excels in competition, academics, and community leadership.
Scholar Athlete Award â Recognizing student-athletes who bring the same dedication to the classroom as they do to their sport.
